Aipan is a ritualistic folk art originating from Kumaon region in the Indian Himalayas. The art is done mainly during special occasions, household ceremonies and rituals.  

This wall decor is done on traditional colour of 'Geru' using white paint which gives a very traditional yet elegant look.
